What is coaching?

Coaching is a thought-provoking process designed to bring out the best in people. It’s about discovering a client's inner resourcefulness. Coaching helps people move from where they are to where they want to be.

Coaching is transformational because it increases self-awareness, improves resilience, and enables forward movement.

It will make you go deep and discover the beauty and the potential that lies within you. It will make you aware of your own limiting beliefs - the thoughts that might be stopping you at times when you get scared, nervous, or something feels too risky.

Coaching will challenge you in unexpected ways and enable you to take action towards the goals that are meaningful to you. It is all about learning, growing, and moving forward with intention.

How does coaching work?

Coaching is a committed partnership where you and I will walk together towards the goals you set for yourself. I’ll help you get in touch with your unique strengths and values so that you can make the choices in your life that represent who you are and who you want to become. As your coach, I don’t give advice, you’ve got the answers and I help you uncover them.

You can expect a safe non-judgmental space where your agenda is my priority - you’re the star and I’m the guide. I’m in charge of the process of coaching and you are in charge of bringing the topic that you want to be working on. Coaching sessions are strictly confidential.

Coaching works because it creates action through discovery, awareness and accountability. Therefore to me, it’s really important that you are fully committed to this process.

Working with me as your private coach.

As a coach, I am straightforward and honest yet empathetic and fun. My passion is to empower you to discover the authentic beauty and potential that lies within you so you can take conscious action towards the goals that are important to you. You are the star, I’m the guide.

I often work with creatives, young people, entrepreneurs, fashion models and young professionals. Clients come to me for different reasons e.g. lack of confidence, uncertainty about the future, urge to change something in life, lack of self-belief and self-trust.

Even though we go deep and I’ll challenge you with compassion, I promise to bring fun and positive energy to every session because that’s just who I am. I’ll hold you accountable for taking the steps you want to take toward your desired goals and outcomes.

As a ICF-certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPPC, ACC), my coaching philosophy is clear: my clients are naturally creative, resourceful and whole. You’ve got the answers, I’ll help you unlock them so you can create the life and business you want. My coaching style is based on the principles of the Co-Active style and positive psychology.

I coach in English and in Finnish.

I found coaching when I was feeling empty and not really knowing where I wanted to head next in my life. I was living in New York and my life was pretty good from the outside but inside I just felt like I had no purpose. Hiring a coach was the best thing I did because together with my coach I was able to dig deeper and get in touch with what my ideal future looked like and what was really important to me. Coaching gives me a committed time and space to work on what’s important to me and it provokes my thinking each and every session. I’m so grateful to all my coaches who have supported me in different phases in my life.

Coaching offering.

Coaching is a process and therefore the minimum coaching engagement is six sessions. Sessions happen usually biweekly or once a month depending on your situation. We will plan the best possible coaching call schedule for both you and me on our first discovery call.

All sessions are strictly confidential and all my clients are required to sign a coaching agreement prior to working together.

I take in just a few clients per year and all my clients need to fill out the new client application form right here. I appreciate your time and patience.

  • Sessions take place via Zoom video calls. I ask you to be in a quiet and private place during our sessions.

    • Every session starts with a review of the goals you committed to during the previous session. After the brief review, we will move on to your preferred topic for the day. You will always leave the session with some action items

    • During our partnership, you will have the opportunity to fill out a self-reflection form in between our sessions if you feel that will support your growth

  • My coaching packages start at 900 €.

Your journey to coaching with me

  • 1. Send me an email

    If you are interested in working with me on a one-on-one basis, please email me at info@withsaara. Tell me about your situation and why you want to be coached in your own words. *Your information will be treated strictly confidential.

  • 2. Schedule a chemistry call

    After reviewing your application form if it looks like we could be a right fit, my team member will contact you to schedule a quick call with me to see if we are aligned and compatible for a coach-client relationship. *This call will be treated strictly confidential

  • 3. Make a payment

    Once we have had a chat and we both agree on the terms of the coaching process, it’s show time! You will be asked to sign a confidential coaching agreement, schedule in the coaching calls, and make full payment before the first session.

  • 4. Start the transformation

    Once the admin is out of the way, it’s time to focus on YOU and your goals. You will be asked to fill out a discovery form before our first session.

  • Each client comes to coaching for different reasons. You might want laser focus support on something. Or you might want to figure out a new direction or a new career path. Or you generally want to gain more confidence and self-trust. Many clients have found it beneficial to identify their limiting beliefs and find ways to work with their inner critics during coaching sessions.

  • Anyone can benefit from coaching. However, coaching works best when you are committed to it and you are ready to invest your time and energy in it. Most of my clients tell me that they most benefitted from coaching because of:

    • Accountability to execute personal and professional goals

    • Scheduled time and space to focus on an important issue or challenge in their lives

    • Safe creative space to stretch themselves and grow beyond what they thought they were capable of

    • Use of body and mindfulness to gain deeper access to themselves

  • My coaching engagements start with a 90-minute discovery session and continue with an agreed number of 60-75 mins sessions. My coaching packages include 6 or 12 sessions and are spread between three or six months-long engagements.

  • Therapy is primarily for treating mental illness and dealing with past trauma. Coaching on the other hand supports well-functioning individuals. Coaching promotes self-awareness, and discovery and enables action toward desired change.

  • Mentoring is about advising, sharing experiences and knowledge built upon mentor’s experience in a specific role or industry. A professional coach does not give advice. Instead, the coach holds the client naturally creative and resourceful and is there to enable the client to discover their own ideas and goals.
